Come aboard one of DaVinci’s flying machines on a journey across Black Rock City!
The dusty, hot, and windy desert environment provides a blank canvas for artists from all over the world along with unique challenges to filming. The fine alkali dust is ubiquitous, getting into every nook and cranny, the dust is also highly corrosive and conductive to boot. Nevertheless we overcame this harsh environment and our biggest concern became that there is just too much happening at this unique and massive event for us to possibly cover it all.
This piece is dedicated in loving memory to Nicholas Alvarado, a dear friend who left us so suddenly this year.
